Calin Sarchiz, PhD

Calin founded Pegas 9 years ago, after graduating from the Faculty of Tools and Equipment Construction, Technical University, Cluj Napoca and the Faculty of Business, Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj Napoca. In 2006, Calin obtained his PhD in economic engineering at the Technical University, Cluj Napoca. During the 5 years of his doctorate studies, Calin approached topics such as Business Process Management and Balanced Scorecard. After receiving his PhD, Calin remained involved in the academic environment as a lector within Petru Maior University from Targu Mures. Calin's area of expertise is Strategic Management, especially Balanced Scorecard.

Anca Gheorghe, CMA, CIA

Anca joined Pegas in 2008 and presently coordinates the risk management consultancy services. Anca is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), member of The Society of Management Accountants of Ontario, Canada; and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), member of The Association of Internal Auditors in Romania and The Institute of Internal Auditors, USA. Anca graduated from the University of Craiova with a degree in economics and from the University "Transylvania" from Brasov with a degree in engineering. Before joining Pegas, Anca obtained a valuable experience in consulting and audit at PricewaterhouseCoopers Canada, where she worked on and coordinated projects in internal audit, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, financial reporting and transactions. Before PwC, Anca held several business and financial analysis positions at CGI Technology Consultants and Mount Sinai Hospital in Canada. Anca's area of expertise is risk management and business process improvement.

Claudiu Aitimiei, Ec.

Claudiu graduated as a valedictorian from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, University Alexandru Ioan Cuza, Iasi, with a major in Management. During 2002-2003, he expanded his management and marketing studies taking several courses with professors from the University of California and Kentucky, USA. Claudiu joined Pegas in April 2004, as a Regional Sales Director in Piatra Neamt, and from June 2006 he holds the Sales Director position. Claudiu's area of expertise is sales process optimization and sales force management.

Sergiu Matei, Ec.

Sergiu graduated from the Economic Sciences Faculty, Dimitrie Cantemir University, Iasi, with a major in Finance and Accounting. Sergiu joined Pegas in February 2003 as a System Analyst, and from March 2005 holds the International Standards Certifications Director position. Sergiu coordinated the implementation of more than 1000 management systems, in companies from most industries, of different sizes from 1 to 15,000 employees. Sergiu's area of expertise is management system planning, implementation and certification based on ISO 9000, ISO 14000, OHSAS 18000 and ISO 27000 standards.

Alina Dan, Ec.
Project Manager, EU Funds

Alina joined Pegas in 2006 and presently coordinates one of the EU Funds teams. Alina started as a consultant in the EU Funds practice in 2007 and after less than 2 years with Pegas, and 10 months in the EU Funds team, due to exceptional results, she was promoted to Team Leader and subsequently to Project Manager, her current position. Alina graduated from the Faculty of Economic, Legal and Administrative Sciences, University Petru Maior, Targu Mures, with a major in Computerized Accounting. In 2009, she finalized her master program studies in Project Management at Petru Maior University, Targu Mures. Alina also holds a Certificate in Public Purchases recognized by the CNFPA. Alina coordinated more than 60 projects on non-reimbursable financing, local development strategies, in several activity areas, including public local authorities. Alina's area of expertise is non-reimbursable financing project management.

Adrian Mihut, Eng.Ec.

Adi graduated from the Faculty of Economic Engineering, Petru Maior University, Targu Mures, with a major in the Production Systems Engineering and Management. Adi holds Project Manager Certificate recognized by the CNFPA and finalized his master program studies in Project Management at Petru Maior University, Targu Mures, currently being in the process of obtaining the IPMA (International Project Management Association) certification. From June 2007, Adi currently Project Manager in the Pegas EU Funds team and in this position, he coordinated over 100 projects, from which over 60 are non-reimbursable financing and local development strategy projects. Adi's area of expertise is non-reimbursable financing and project management.
